Best ways to spend money –
Donating to a community: There are a lot of communities out there on twitch and they spend a lot of time providing new content for you guys. When you donate you support a belief such as freedom or independence.
The more you support something such as their lifestyle of freedom you learn more about what freedom is. Supporting something you like lets you learn more about the community you are supporting.
e.g. If you buy chicken you support chicken. When you buy chicken people will make more recipes of chicken available at restaurants and grocery stores. You get to enjoy chicken a lot.
This also applies with supporting communities like people on twitch, you’ll get to learn a lot more about yourself and other people and what independence or freedom is like.
Your money is your time-
Anyone can be anything if they put in the work and effort and at the end of it we get paid for that particular job. Your time well spent is saying that you are doing the job right and so you get paid for that.
Gifts for others-
Chocolates are great gifts for others to let them know you think well of them. It doesn’t have to be exclusive to valentines day to send someone a gift of chocolates.
In my opinion a gift is easily accessible and doesn’t require much commitment to maintain.
e.g. a car is a big commitment and an instrument too like the guitar and piano
You need lessons to learn an instrument and taking care of a car requires a lot of maintenance.
I think headphones are fine. Souveneirs are also easily accessible and can let someone know that you think well of them.
Gifts for yourself –
Spending money on really nice food every once in a while is great. Waiting till the end of the year to feel better on a holiday isn’t worth it in my opinion. You get to live really well throughout the year instead of waiting a long time to enjoy yourself. Chefs spend a lot of time making food well so it doesn’t hurt to eat a nice steak once in a while.
There’s nothing wrong with a holiday i think it’s fine having one once a year.
