I come to you again this week because I continue to miss you.

As we move through summer, our COVID Task Force has been working diligently for the fall semester. Whether you’re a new student, returning student or a faculty or staff member, I want you to know that we at Brenau are working hard to be ready for your arrival. Please know that I can’t wait to see you.

Campus life will be different on a day-to-day basis because we will be embracing a culture of prevention. This means we will all be wearing masks, socially distancing, walking differently on the campuses, serving food differently and having rules about visitors. None of that changes the essential, important message of Brenau. Our mission is to ensure that students live lives of extraordinary personal and professional fulfillment.

We will be ensuring that we are preventing the spread of COVID-19 as much as we possibly can, so that you will be as safe as you possibly can be. We need your help in that. This is a shared responsibility.

Please know that I can’t wait for you to come home to Brenau and that each and every one of us has an important role to play in our culture of prevention.

Take care and enjoy the rest of your summer. I miss you. Wear your mask.
