Kitchens are confined spaces filled with hot surfaces, boiling liquids, sharp knives and many other items that cause serious injury. With the demands of the environment and the pressure to deliver food within time-limits, there is an increased risk that accidents will occur.
Aim of this module is to enhance safety awareness in the galley and to increase understanding and application of basic safety precautions by catering personnel.
