Upgrading 3D printers is so much fun, so why not upgrade a cheap CNC router to make it more capable? The Genmitsu 3018 CNC is the perfect candidate because it is cheap and has reasonable baseline performance.
The mods shown in this video are designed to be almost modular. You could upgrade only the spindle, only the stepper motors, only the mainboard or any combination of what is depicted. Pick and choose as you see fit or as you can afford.
