This ‘‘rose-flavored’’ performance evokes the subjects of pop culture, entertainment, fraternity and women lib. I wear a tech mini-dress cut in the futurist 1960s style and made of 124 cubes that look like Turkish delights (rahat) to sing the beauty and wealth of Arab culture, questioning the contemporary customs in the East as well as in the West. The lokum-cubes light up independently and draw motifs in movement, synchronized with the music. My multifaceted dress refer to mosaic, pixels, disco ball, laser and video games, Arabic patterns. I composed five songs inspired by Egyptian pop, R&B, Disco, that I sing in French and English, including a nursery rhyme in Arabic. Various themes such as financial crisis, social media, marriage, fidelity, food and habits are treated with humor. The public is invited to dance with me.
